The AARP Driver Safety Program is designed especially for drivers ages 50 and older.

This single session, four-hour course covers the normal changes in vision, hearing and reaction time associated with aging and provides practical techniques on how to adjust to these changes, along with learning to operate vehicles more safely in today’s increasingly challenging driving environment.

No written or driving tests are given. It is a classroom course only. The course is open to Connecticut residents only.

The program costs $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members. Bring a check or cash only.

Registration is required. To register for the event, click here. For more information, call 203-775-6241.

The Brookfield Library is at 182 Whisconier Road.
