Learn To Knit, Swap Patterns, Socialize At Sherman Library Activity

SHERMAN, Conn. -- The Sherman Library is hosting a knitting and needle arts creativity activity on Wednesday, June 8, from 7-9 p.m., in the Sherman Library Program Room.

It will be an evening of needle arts -- knitting, crochet, needlepoint, rug hooking and quilting. All are invited to knit, learn to knit, swap patterns or advice and generally have a sociable time. 

All skill levels are welcome, from beginner to expert. Refreshments will be provided. 

It will be an informal gathering co-hosted by knitters Elly Bockley and Amanda Ruane.
