The celebration will honor Daniela Sikora, music director of The Ridgefield Chorale, and a posthumous award will be presented to the family of Tom Belote. The afternoon will feature special performances by Broadway’s Daniel Levine and Bryan Perri as well as The Ridgefield Chorale, The Serendipity Chorale, Kimberly Wilson, Ridgefield A Better Chance and students from Keys, a non-profit organization that brings music education to underserved inner city children.

The event begins at 3 p.m. at The Ridgefield Playhouse and is free to the community. Itwas started 21 years ago by Ridgefield resident Mark Robinson and First Selectman Rudy Marconi. “We went from doing this in the basement of Town Hall and having a handful of people show up to being able to do this at The Ridgefield Playhouse and have approximately 250 people show up last year,” Robinson said.

Sikora recently started the Being Human Being Kind campaign, in partnership with the Ridgefield School District and other community arts and social groups, in an effort to bring attention to the subject of bullying and offer programs to help victims and bring healing to the community.  Belote's award will honor his tireless advocacy and activism on behalf of immigrants to America. He died in September 2015.
