DANBURY, Conn. — Students and faculty members at Western Connecticut State University have created a memorial on the midtown campus in Danbury to honor the U.S. service members killed in the war on terror.
The sign on the sea of flags at WestConn has been updated with the current death toll of service members killed in the war on terror: 7,008.

"WCSU students and faculty have placed a U.S. flag representing each sacrifice," said a statement from WestConn.
