For stationery lovers who followed the store ---  it was there more than 12 years and catered to thousands of locals over countless occasions -- DeNicola, who lives in Stamford, was a constant presence.

“I helped the Mulherns set up Milestones for its grand opening, and I was there on the final day that they closed the shop doors for good," she said.

But, like anyone of a certain age knows, when one door closes another opens.

For DeNicola it was a meeting with Shari Lebowitz, a self-professed “paperpreneur” and owner of Bespoke Designs, a new fine stationery studio in Westport.

That was the catalyst that provided a seamless next step. Her recent hiring at Bespoke Designs is a natural furtherance of a long career helping customers find the right wedding invitation, birth announcement, and stationery products.

DeNicola describes the shop as the “perfect place to find a uniquely personal item to make a lasting impression.”

Recently, she said, there has been a resurgence of highly personal, luxury niceties, all of which Bespoke Designs carries.

"Shari has tapped into this trend and presents an exquisite collection in her warm, cozy shop that encourages browsing."
