Brookfield Zoning Commission To Make Decision on Renaissance

BROOKFIELD, Conn. -- Public hearings regarding the planned Renaissance apartment building on Federal Road in Ridgefield have been closed by the Brookfield Zoning Commission, according to WLAD.com.

Now, all that is needed is a decision on the newly amended submitted plan by the developer, to meet residents concerns, said WLAD.com.

The plan originally called for a six-story building, with no retail space. The new plan is no longer considered affordable housing because less apartments are being proposed, according to the developer's attorney. The Zoning Commission has 65 days to approve or deny the project, added WLAD.com.
