Eversource Reports Large Power Outages Across New Fairfield, Sherman

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — As strong winds blew across Fairfield County on Wednesday afternoon, Eversource was reporting a number of power outages.

As of 5:45 p.m., the following outages were reported: 

  • New Fairfield: 24 customers
  • Monroe: 8 customers
  • Sherman: 398 customers, or 20 percent of the town

It was not clear when the outages would be repaired, Eversource said.
