Colley will now appear on June 1 in state Superior Court in Danbury. He was arrested twice last year and has pleaded not guilty to fraud charges, said News-Times.
His former assistant, Elizabeth Kerekes, who was also charged with larceny and fraud, has applied for a special probationary program, added News-Times.
