60-Year-Old Brookfield Man ID'd As Motorcyclist Killed In Crash

BROOKFIELD, Conn. — The motorcyclist killed in a crash Saturday night in Brookfield has been identified as 60-year-old town resident Gregory Arnold, according to the News-Times.

The crash occurred on Candlewood Lake Road in Brookfield near Huckleberry Hill Elementary School.

The crash occurred at about 10:20 p.m. Saturday on Candlewood Lake Road near Huckleberry Hill Elementary School in Brookfield, police said.

It involved two cars and one motorcycle, said police, who have released few details about the crash.

Arnold, of North Pleasant Rise, was was taken to Danbury Hospital, where he died, police said. 

Danbury resident Richard Dasilva, who was in one of the cars, was also taken to Danbury Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the News-Times.

Arnold had recently retired and was selling his home and moving out of state, according to the News-Times.
