BROOKFIELD, Conn. -- The Brookfield Police Department is getting a lot of support from the law enforcement community as well as local citizens and businesses in Brookfield.
The officers and civilian staff of the Brookfield Police Department spoke in a Facebook post about how grateful they are for the confidence placed in them as they fulfill their mission of providing public safety services to citizens and visitors.
"We value your faith in us and affirm our commitment to you, each and every day," the department wrote.
They offered a special thank you to the Mageed and Ziegelmeier families for donation of breakfast treats and pizza for officers and staff. They continued their post, "Thank you, too, to the many other generous persons and businesses that have shown their support for us over the past few weeks. It is truly appreciated."
