BROOKFIELD, Conn. -- Brookfield students are heading back to school on Wednesday, and police are asking drivers to keep an eye out and follow the rules of the road to make sure everyone has a safe and healthy return to school.
Drivers should be aware of the possibility of pedestrians in the roadway. Police are also advising that buses will be out in full force. Drivers are required to come to a full stop at a safe distance for any bus that has its red lights activated.
Brookfield Police will be out ensuring the safety of kids by observing traffic and ticketing non-compliant drivers.
