BROOKFIELD, Conn. -- A female student at Brookfield High School was arrested on charges of writing a bomb threat on a bathroom wall nine months ago, causing the school to be evacuated, according to the News-Times.

The unidentified girl turned herself into police after a warrant was issued for her arrest on charges of third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree breach of peace, said the News-Times.

After the bomb threat last Sept. 10, the school was put on lockdown as police and fire searched the entire building, added News-Times.
