Members of the Danbury Police Department’s Special Investigations Division executed court-authorized search and seizure warrants for Corey Marvette Heath, his vehicle, cellphone and his home at 36 Clearview Ave. They were assisted by the Patrol Division and the Danbury Regional SWAT Team.

Investigators and officers stopped Heath in the driveway of his residence, after he had entered his parked vehicle, police said.

While officers moved in to arrest Heath, members of the SWAT team entered the home, temporarily seizing all occupants, police said.

At that time, his cellphone was seized and the other three search and seizure warrants were executed, police said.

Heath was found to be possessing illegal prescription narcotics, marijuana packed for sale, drug paraphernalia and several thousand dollars in U.S. currency, all of which was seized as evidence, police said.

Heath was arrested and transported to the Danbury Police Department.

He was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, possession of a drug paraphernalia, and risk of injury to a child.

Bond was set at $150,000.
