Police said the assault took place at 11:45 a.m. on one of the paths from the parking lot to the beach on the east side of the lot.
The suspect is described as a black man about 19 years old, 5-foot-10 to 6 feet tall with an average build, and wearing a bright red T-shirt, zip-fly shorts and beige sandals, police said. He was seen walking west on the beach with two other men around his age just minutes before the attack, police said.
