Police are seeking the public’s assistance in tracking down a suspect who allegedly may have stole multiple eyeglass frames from a Route 1 business.

Investigators from the Westport Police Department released surveillance photos of a suspect who entered a Post Road business in Westport at 5:17 p.m. on July 3, and exited 28 minutes later, at 5:45 p.m. after allegedly stuffing a dozen eyeglass frames into his pants, police said.

In the photos, the suspect can be seen wearing a black t-shirt and pants, with black boots. The suspect was bald, had a beard and a tattoo was visible on his neck, above his shirt.

Anyone with information regarding the incident, or who may recognize the suspect has been asked to contact the Westport Police Department Detective Bureau by calling (203) 341-6053.
