Man Stabbed During Overnight Street Robbery In Norwalk

NORWALK, Conn. — A man was robbed and stabbed in East Norwalk early Sunday by two assailants, according to The Hour.

The man, who was found on Van Zant Street, said he had been walking on Fort Point Street when two men tackled him, stabbed him in the chest and stole his victim’s money, according to The Hour.

The victim was treated at Norwalk Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, The Hour said.

Police are also investigating two unrelated armed robberies that occurred near Woodward Avenue early Saturday. No injuries were reported after two men were mugged at gunpoint by groups of armed men, police said.
