A plane crashed in New Milford a short distance away from Candlelight Farms Airport, according to WFSB.

NEW MILFORD, Conn. -- A plane crashed in New Milford near the Sherman border Friday morning, according to WFSB.

The crash occurred on Green Pond Road at around 10 a.m. Friday, WFSB reported. A Life Star medical helicopter was heading to the scene, WFSB.

There was no information about the extent of possible injuries, and the cause of the crash is under investigation, WFSB reported. The site of the crash is a short distance away from the Candlelight Farms Airport in Sherman.
