WestConn In Danbury Closed Thursday Due To Snowstorm

DANBURY, Conn. — Western Connecticut State University will be closed Thursday, Jan. 4, and all classes are canceled due to the approaching snowstorm.

Essential personnel should report for work as usual, WCSU said.

Snow parking rules will be in effect, restricting parking to certain areas. All Midtown campus residents must park in the White Street garage (except the top deck).

All Westside campus residents must park in the Centennial Garage (except on the top deck), on Sand Road or in the O'Neill Center Main lot.

Cars parked in other areas may be ticketed and towed to allow for plowing.

The Campus & Student Centers will be closed, including all food services.

The campus shuttle will not operate.

The bookstore will be closed.

Fitness Facilities will be closed, and any Group Exercise classes are canceled.

Designated police and maintenance personnel are required to report to work as usual.
