Showers Give Way To Several Days Of Cloudy Skies In Brookfield

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Fairfield County residents can expect a little bit of rain Friday to close out the week ahead of several days of cloudy and cool weather.

The National Weather Service is predicting some showers Friday morning, followed by a mostly cloudy and cool rest of the day. The high will be near 54, with an east wind of 7 to 9 mph. Friday night will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 46.

The gloomy weather will continue into Saturday, which is expected by mostly cloudy and then gradually become sunny, with a high near 62 and a north wind of 5 to 10 mph. Saturday night will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 40.

Sunday will be mostly cloudy as well, with a high near 61. The northeast wind will be around 5 mph before becoming light and variable in the morning. Sunday night will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 40.

The sun is not expected to rear its head in the beginning of next week. Monday is predicted to be cloudy, with a high near 61. Monday night will see a 30 percent chance of light rain, but will otherwise be cloudy with a low around 43. 

There is a 50 percent chance of showers during the day Tuesday, which will otherwise be cloudy with a high near 57. Tuesday night will have a 30 percent chance of showers, with a low around 46. Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with a high around 66, and the night will be mostly cloudy with a low around 50.
