The fog rolled in across the area after Saturday that delivered some wet weather.

The fog will worsen into the overnight hours, with visibility of a quarter mile or less. Drivers should slow down and leave plenty of distance ahead because the heavy fog will make travel difficult, the weather service said.

On Sunday, there is a 20 percent chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible in the afternoon. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. The high will be near 81 degrees.

On Monday, the weather service said there is "an elevated risk for severe thunderstorms and flash flooding ... with damaging winds possible."

Tuesday will see more rain, with a 40 percent chance of showers before 3 p.m.
