Brookfield Police Deliver Toys To Children's Hospital

BROOKFIELD, Conn. -- Last week's Brookfield Police Department toy collection drive received much support for the local business community according to the department's Facebook page.

The event called Stuff-A-Cruiser received toys from Down The Hatch Restaurant, Modzelewski's Recovery & Heavy Hauling, and Ragno Construction, LLC.

The collection event outside Raymour & Flanigan Furniture and Mattress Store on Candlewood Lake Road also drew support from 105.5 FM in Danbury, for publicity, and Candlewood Coffee and Chick fil A Brookfield, to provide coffee and cookies.

Brookfield Volunteer Fire Department came with a fire truck for kids.

The toys were delivered by volunteers to the Connecticut Children's Medical Center, said the Brookfield Police Department on Facebook.
