Albert Robinson, 57, of Bridgeport, was arrested Tuesday at  Dinosaur Bar-B-Que on Canal Street after officers in the Narcotics and Organized Crime squad spent the day watching him divide his time between working and dealing out of his car in the parking lot, said Stamford Police Capt. Richard Conklin.

The squad set up the surveillance after receiving a tip that he was dealing from the restaurant, Conklin said.

The team began watching the restaurant parking lot around 9 a.m. Tuesday and watched as Robinson made trip after trip to his vehicle, sometimes meeting people at the car, other times just getting in his vehicle, Conklin said.

After several hours of watching the back and forth, officers moved in and stopped him around 5 p.m. by his vehicle. Inside, officers found 312 bags of heroin, 213 bags of crack cocaine, 18 gram of powder cocaine in five large bags and several bags of pot, Conklin said.

Officers also found $2,502 in cash, bags and an electronic scale.

Robinson was charged with possession of narcotics, operating a drug factory, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of less than a quarter pound of marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to sell.

He is being held in lieu of a $75,000 bond.
