Two slates competed for the seats, with a 13-12 split, with a recount likely because of the close voting, the News-Times said.

Also, Brookfield’s RTC will have a new leader with Chairman Matt Grimes saying he would not seek to regain the seat, the News-Times said.

Those who appeared ahead in the polls were: Bob Belden, Kevin McCaffrey, Andrew Ellis, Greg Dembowski, Ryan Murphy, Martin Flynn, Gerard Friedrich, Steve O’Reilly, Christy Petriccione, Fred Ball, Mark Ferry, Scott McCarthy, Jerome Murphy, Catherine Malek, Rose DeMarco, Harold Shaker, Steven Cioffi, Mike McManus, Christopher Lynch, John Mangold, Paul Checco, Geoffrey Hunton, Amy D’Alessandro, Jim Diezemann, and Paul Sedor.
