Showers Likely In Brookfield Thursday Before Sunny Weekend

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Gusty winds Wednesday night that knocked out power around the county and took down trees and power lines will continue Thursday afternoon as another low pressure system moves through the area with gusts up to 35 mph, according to the National Weather Service.

Windy, cold weather with a few showers will hang around this afternoon and evening but will move out of the area this weekend.
